Play Planet Zoo 2 on Mac through GeForce NOW

Confirm the game, store and regional service before paying for a cloud membership. An announcement is evidence of the supported route, not a live session test on your account.

The short answer

NVIDIA’s 15 October 2026 GeForce NOW announcement lists Planet Zoo 2 on Steam among that week’s additions. On a supported Mac, use the GeForce NOW app or supported browser, sign in and verify the matching Steam ownership. This is cloud play, not a native macOS version of the Windows game.[1][2][3]

Check the three requirements separately

RequirementWhat to checkCommon confusion
Game availabilityFind Planet Zoo 2 and its Steam option in your local GeForce NOW catalogue. The first Planet Zoo and a different storefront are not interchangeable entries.
Game ownershipUse the store account that owns the supported edition.A streaming membership does not itself establish that you own this paid game.
Mac and networkCheck NVIDIA’s current macOS and browser requirements, then run the service’s network check. The remote game’s Windows GPU requirement is not a local Mac-install instruction.

The announcement identifies Steam. NVIDIA’s setup guidance says to sign into your store or publisher account to verify owned games. We have not verified an Epic, Xbox or console purchase as an alternative entitlement for this listing.[1][2]

Start the cloud route on Mac

  1. Check the local catalogue for the exact game and supported storefront.
  2. Use NVIDIA · GeForce NOW app downloads ↗ (external site, opens in a new tab) or its supported browser route.
  3. Sign into your NVIDIA account, then the matching game-store account when requested.
  4. Select the game’s Steam entry and follow the service’s launch instructions.
  5. Before a long session, check controls, network quality and that you are using the intended account/save.

NVIDIA currently lists macOS 10.15 or later for its app, with connection requirements varying by stream quality. Its system page lists 25 Mbps for a 1080p/60 stream and requires under 80 ms latency to a data centre. These are service requirements, not measurements of your connection or a guarantee of this game’s performance.[2][3]

If the game is missing or will not start

A 13 October Steam discussion records launch-day uncertainty about GeForce NOW. The later NVIDIA announcement is stronger evidence for the listed Steam route than an earlier comment saying to wait.[1][4]
